Val di Sole is a valley in western Trentino. It is surrounded by many peaks over 3000 m of the mountain ranges of the Brenta to the South, Ortles-Cevedale to the North, and Adamello-Presanella to the West. Part of the territory of the valley is a section of the Stelvio National Park (North) and another section of the Adamello Brenta Natural Park (South). Here, nature is at home. The valley, for mountain lovers, offers walks for beginners and, for the more experienced, high-altitude excursions also accompanied by Mountain Guides. In the valley floor we find the villages, all lying close to the Noce river, where in summer you can go canoeing, rafting, hydrospeed. In winter we find 290 km of downhill slopes, 115 ski lifts; a skiable area of over one million square meters, thanks also to artificial snow. Numerous ski instructors, both for those approaching skiing for the first time, or for those who, already experienced, want to improve the technique. For those who do not practice downhill skiing, we have cross-country skiing, itineraries for ski mountaineering, excursions with snowshoes, skating rinks and other attractions suitable for an active holiday.
