Level Intermediate
Duration 2 days
Zone Ortles Cevedale
Many aspire to do this ascent, which is busy especially on the northern side (because it presents open slopes and slightly downhill, perfect for an intermediate level skier. The south-east section is more challenging, because the skier happens to cross crevasses and more exposed and steeper slopes.
The ascent is proposed here considering spending the night at the hut, but it can also be realized in one day, if the skier is well trained (the price has to be reproportioned).
