Level Intermediate
Duration 2 days
Zone Val di Sole
Dry tooling is extremely connected to ice climbing; it’s suitable for those who already practice vertical ice climbing and want to improve their abilities with ice axes and crampons and their movements on mixed terrain in high mountain and classic ice.
Technical description
it’s a two-days course.
In the FIRST DAY we will work on how to perfectly use the equipment (ice axes and crampons); we will also work on the evolution of movements on ice waterfalls.
In the SECOND DAY we will climb on mixed terrain, with various passages – rock and ice – which will help us to learn how our equipment works with us and with the terrain, how to properly move not to damage our articulations.
Both of the days won’t have a mountaineering characterization, but they will be realized in an equipped environment, with anchors already set.
