An itinerary which will take you over one of the largest glaciers of Italy.
The Mountain Guides of Val di Sole organize daily hikes to admire the natural beauty of Forni glacier, in the heart of Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio.
Technical description
Daily excursion starting from Pejo Fonti. We climb up with the cable car to Pejo 3000, where the trail begins, we cross the small Saline glacier and then we reach Colle del Vioz (3330m), where we set foot on the large Forni glacier. Wide landscape, overviews of the most beautiful mountains of the group Ortles/Cevedale, Adamello Presanella and Brenta Dolomites. We come back to the start on the same path.
We will use crampons, harness and hiking poles.
Elevation gain: + 500m/-500m.

Individual fee – 1 person = 280 euros, 2 people = 150 euros, 3 people = 110 euros.
Not included in the fee: the cable car tickets.
It’s possible to rent the equipment: crampons, ice axe and harness.
