Wonderful itinerary in a wide and scenic environment, with an overview of Val di Sole, Val di Non and the mountain groups around the valleys. The bivouac is dedicated to the Mountain Guide Dino Marinelli, who passed away prematurely. The ascent to the bivouac is set on an easy path among the larches, over the tree line, where we can see pastures covered of numerous floral species.
Technical description
From Bolentina (1194 m), by following a forest road, we climb up to Piazza Marentaia. The route follows wide slopes around Malga Bolentina alta (1832 m). We move on the western shoulder and we keep walking on the ridge which ends in Cimon de Bolentina (2287 m). Under the ridge, in a sunny and protected place, the bivouac is set and ready to welcome 4 people (maximum). Elevation gain: 1000 m.
