Scenic ascent (about 1650 m of total elevation gain) with around 850 m uphill, using the cable car of Pejo 3000, in the heart of Tredici Cime.
Technical description
Wonderful itinerary which takes us to 3645 m of Monte Vioz. From Pejo Fonti with the cable car we reach 3000 m, then we descend across the Val de La Mite and we ascend to Colle del Vioz (3330 m). Over the Ghiacciaio dei Forni we reach the homonym peak. Final descent from northern side, through the Vedretta Rossa. Final destination: Malga Mare (2000 m).
Walking time: uphill 3hrs, downhill 2hrs.
