Ideal route for those who want to draw closer to these activities, without excessive elevation gain, walking on paths which are suitable for anyone. The ascent to the beginning of the iron path can be done with the cable car of Passo Grostè or on foot from Vallesinella, walking by Rif. Tuckett.
Technical description
We’ll reach Rifugio Tuckett (m.2771) on foot or by cable car (tickets not included in the fee) until Passo Grostè and then walking along an easy trail (1 hour) or starting from Vallesinella along the Casinei path. The Sentiero Sosat starts to develop after Rif. Tuckett, along the ridges of Punta Massari and Punta Campiglio (long ladder), and then it crosses over rocky slopes, leading us towards Rif. Brentei and Alimonta. From Rif. Brentei it’s possible to reach Casinei and, in the end, Vallesinella, through the normal access path.
