Duration 3 days

Zone Ortles Cevedale

In the heart of the Stelvio Park, the Ortles-Cevedale group represents the richest mountain range in glaciers of the central-eastern Alps, as well as one of the highest in the entire Italian Alps.

After having conquered the Vioz hut, the highest in Trentino at an altitude of 3,535 m, the itinerary climbs to the top of the homonym peak, which was a front line manned by the Austrians during the First World War.

From here begins one of the most exciting high altitude crossings up to the peak of Palon de la Mare (3703m), to then descend into Val Venezia and continue among plateaus dotted with alpine lakes, glaciers and sparkling waterfalls until you reach the characteristic Val di Rabbi.

A crossing that reserves grandiose and ever-changing landscapes, between luxuriant nature and alpine meadows up to the vast moraines at the foot of glaciers and snow-capped peaks.
