One of the most stunning and challenging Alte Vie in the Alps is, without any doubt, the one we suggest in Brenta group. An iron path which traverses all the most interesting and historically important peaks of the group.
Technical description
Day One: we meet at the Fortini parking lot, in Passo Campo Carlo Magno. We climb up with the cable car at Rifugio Stoppani (2450 m), walking along the via ferrata Benini we reach Rifugio Tuckett (m 2273).
Day Two: we ascend to Bocca di Tuckett, walking on the via delle Bocchette Alte and reaching the highest elevation point of the entire trekking (3000 m, cengia Garbari), then we spend the night at Rifugio Alimonta (2589 m).
Day Three: we overcome a small snowfield, entering in the heart of Gruppo di Brenta, after the Bocca d’Armi. Passing by the rocky walls of Torre di Brenta, Campanil Alto, Campanil Basso, we pass through Bocca di Brenta and reach Rif. Pedrotti (m 2491).
Day Four: once left the hut behind, we pass along the base of Cima Tosa, walk over the path “O. Brentari”, reach the Vedretta d’Ambiez and spend the night at the Rifugio Agostini (2410 m).
Day Five: the day starts with an amazing ascent along the Ferrata Castiglioni, then we reach the Bocca dei Camosci and, after overcoming a small glacier, through sentiero Martinazzi, we reach the Rifugio Brentei (m. 2180).
Day Six: we hike up the Vallone dei Brentei, then walk on the via ferrata Sosat that takes us to Rifugio Tuckett. From here, we come back to Passo Campo Carlo Magno.

Individual fee – 1 person = 1800 euros, 2 people = 970 euros, 3 people = 660 euros, 4 people = 490 euros, 5 people = 400 euros, 6 people = 330 euros.
PS. It’s possible to reduce the trekking from six days to three. Individual fees for a three-days trekking: 1 person = 900 euros, 2 people = 485 euros, 3 people = 330 euros, 4 people = 245 euros, 5 people = 200 euros, 6 people = 165 euros.
